The Picasso Project

The Picasso Project 2002-2004 was a collaborative two year research and training program in partnership with SNIFF Inc. designed to take flight from "able-centric" notions of the performing arts. At the same time it challenged commonly held ideas of beauty, ability, perception and learning to come up with viable alternatives, options and tools. During the process we discovered liberating possibilities for Deaf, artists with disabilities and allied artists and companies to work and create separately and together.
